During the encounter, Senator Helming expressed gratitude towards Superintendent McLetchie for his ongoing advocacy efforts. In a statement, Senator Helming said, "Senator Helming thanks Superintendent McLetchie on behalf of his continued advocacy for 4201 schools that serve students who are deaf, blind or have severe physical disabilities."
