Cayuga County announced on April 6 that it is seeking proposals for the development and implementation of a comprehensive economic development strategic plan.

The request for proposals, identified as RFP 2026-18, aims to guide the county’s future economic growth. Officials say this effort is intended to provide a clear direction for Cayuga County’s economic initiatives.

A pre-proposal conference will be held on April 21 at 10 a.m. at 2 State Street, first floor conference room in Auburn. Interested parties are encouraged to attend to learn more about the requirements and expectations outlined in the proposal.

Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 23 at 5 p.m., and all bid documents or inquiries should be sent via email as indicated in the announcement. The deadline for submitting proposals is April 30 at 10 a.m.

This process reflects Cayuga County’s ongoing efforts to support local economic growth through structured planning and engagement with qualified partners.
