Regular gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.79 per gallon at two gas stations in Yates County during the week ending Mar. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

Regular gas prices averaged $3.82 per gallon in Yates County.

Of the seven reported gas stations located within Yates County, three offered regular gas.

Across New York, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas rose to $3.82, compared to the week before.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
