The summer construction season at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua will bring changes that may affect patients and visitors. From July 14 to July 28, the hospital’s main entrance on Parrish Street will undergo a minor project involving the rebuilding of a short retaining wall. During this period, the road in front of the retaining wall will be closed to both vehicles and pedestrians. Visitors and patients will be directed under the main entrance overhang, typically used for drop-off and pickup.
Additionally, from July 14 to July 21, repaving work will take place in a large parking lot behind the hospital’s Constellation Center for Health and Healing and on the entrance road off West Street. As a result, these areas will be closed until July 22.
Hospital officials have advised those visiting the campus to allow extra time for their visits and to follow all posted signs and directions.
