The Cornell Big Red men’s lightweight rowing team competed against Princeton for the Platt Cup and Harriott Trophy on April 11, with Princeton winning both trophies at Lake Carnegie.

In the varsity eight event, Cornell finished second with a time of 6:09.847, while Princeton secured first place with a time of 6:05.563. In the second varsity eight race, Cornell again placed second, recording a time of 6:50.450 behind Princeton’s winning time of 6:26.590.
Cornell’s boat lineups included Rhea Kaycee as coxswain in the varsity boat alongside rowers Nathan Bechard, Owen Brown, Maximilian Purcea, Colin Bailey, Nicholas Hlinka, Gabe Xu, Teddy Holtman, and Cruz Erdmann. The junior varsity crew featured Sofia Lago as coxswain with Nathaniel Santaniello, Alessandro Zanni, Samuek Peale, Jon Mayer, Neekon Tabatabai, Evan Yang, Michael Phelps and Francis Lau.
Cornell Big Red Men’s Rowing represents Cornell University in NCAA Division I rowing events according to the official website.
