The Cornell men’s lightweight rowing team secured first place in the Varsity Eight at the Princeton Chase on Sunday morning, setting a new course record with a time of 07:01.53. The team’s B boat also competed, finishing in seventh place with a time of 7:24.48.
Further details about the lineup for the Cornell boats are expected to be released soon.
Cornell junior Pierre Attiogbe will compete in his first NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Assistant coach Mike Henderson praised Attiogbe’s dedication as he prepares for Friday’s mile semifinals.
The Cornell men’s polo team will finish its home season against Toronto Polo Club on Saturday. The match comes just before preparations begin for Division I nationals.
These former Finger Lakes area high school athletes will take part in events on Friday, March 13.
