Cornell’s Annelies Bergmann named ECAC and HCA goaltender of the month

Annelies Bergmann has received recognition as the ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Month and HCA National Tri-Goalie of the Month. In February, Bergmann recorded 152 saves with a .956 save percentage and achieved two shutouts. She made 30 saves in three games, helping Cornell secure a 6-0-0 record during its playoff run and quarterfinal round.

Bergmann and the No. 11-ranked Cornell women’s ice hockey team are set to compete in Lake Placid for the ECAC Hockey Championship Weekend. The Big Red will face off against the top-seeded Yale Bulldogs on Friday, March 6 at Herb Brooks Arena. The game will be available for viewing on ESPN+.
