Laidlaw put Clarkson ahead early before Adam tied the score less than half a minute later. Manness restored Clarkson’s lead eight minutes after that. Regalado equalized for Cornell at the start of the second period before Perron-Roy gave Cornell its first lead late in the frame. Le Scodan then brought it back level at 3-3.

Avar opened scoring in the third with a power-play goal for Cornell; Adam followed with her second of the night to make it 5-3. However, Clarkson responded with two power-play goals within three minutes to even things up again.

In overtime, both teams killed off penalties without conceding further goals. In the subsequent shootout round, Grober and Adam converted their opportunities for Cornell while Bergmann denied both of Clarkson’s attempts.

“Avi Adam (COR) – Earned three points on two goals and an assist, scored the final shootout goal to give Cornell the victory.”
