Four athletes from Cornell University’s women’s tennis team are set to compete at the Ivy League Conference Masters Women’s Qualifier, which will take place at Harvard’s Beren Tennis Center from October 24 to 26. The event acts as a qualifier for the ITA Conference Masters Championships scheduled for November 6-9 in San Diego, California.

Cornell’s participants in singles play include senior Emma Baker, junior Michelle Ryndin, sophomore Andrea Martinez De Los Rios, and freshman Dylan Gelber. In doubles competition, Baker and Gelber will partner together, while Ryndin and De Los Rios form another team representing Cornell.

According to the university, “Winners in both singles and doubles will advance to the ITA Conference Masters Championships, part of a two-year pilot shifting the NCAA individual qualifying process to the fall season.”

Additionally, Victoria Zhao and Sage Loudon from Cornell have already qualified for the ITA Sectional Championships taking place November 6-9 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
