The Daemen Wildcats, featuring former Canandaigua Academy standout Kyleigh Chapman, were defeated by the Holy Family Tigers 78-62 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Monday, March 16.
The contest, played at James Moore Field House at 7 p.m., marked the Wildcats’ first tournament matchup against Holy Family.
Cornell senior Ryder King was named Ivy League Co-Athlete of the Week after a strong showing at Penn Relays. King’s performance set a new personal best and moved him up Cornell’s record books.
Cornell’s women’s sailing team finished seventh at this year’s ICSA Women’s Team Racing National Championship in New Orleans. The Big Red ended with an 8-6 record and will wrap up their season next month in Tampa.
