On Sunday, March 15, the Daemen Wildcats, featuring former Victor Senior High School athlete Phil Nwugwo, clinched an 85-62 win over the Saint Michael’s Purple Knights during the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest tipped off at 7:30 p.m. at the Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium, marking the Wildcats’ initial meeting with Saint Michael’s in this tournament.

The Daemen Wildcats will play again on Tuesday, March 17, at 7 p.m., returning to Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium.
