Dr. Joseph Caravella has joined the Canandaigua Family Practice, which is affiliated with UR Medicine Thompson Health and F.F. Thompson Hospital. Dr. Caravella earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge before obtaining a doctor of osteopathy degree from William Carey University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He completed his family medicine residency at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana.
Before joining the practice, Dr. Caravella worked as a clinical skills instructor at Tulane University School of Medicine and served as a resident preceptor at Bridge House treatment facility, both located in New Orleans.
At Canandaigua Family Practice, Dr. Caravella joins physicians Joseph R. Duba, Ashley Leubner, and Brian Sandler. The practice is currently accepting new patients and is located at Suite 100, 3170 West St., Canandaigua.
