Cornell men’s basketball senior guards Jake Fiegen and Cooper Noard have been named to the 2025-26 All-Ivy League team, according to a March 11 announcement by the league office. Fiegen was selected for the first team, while Noard earned second-team honors. Senior Corbin Zentner also received Academic All-Ivy recognition.
The selections highlight individual achievements during a season in which Cornell finished with a 15-12 overall record and an 8-6 mark in Ivy League play. The team enters Ivy Madness as the No. 4 seed and is set to face Yale, the regular season champion and defending conference tournament titleholder, in the semifinals on Saturday, March 14.
Fiegen had a standout senior year, ranking among conference leaders in several categories including scoring (16.8 points per game), field goal percentage (.543), three-point field goals (2.22 per game), three-point percentage (.408), and rebounds (5.1 per game). He led all players in scoring during Ivy League contests with an average of 18.5 points per game on efficient shooting splits. Fiegen’s performance included two games with more than 30 points against Ivy opponents and a decisive last-second three-pointer that secured a win over Yale.
Noard led the Ivy League in scoring at 18.5 points per game during his final season while maintaining high efficiency from the floor, beyond the arc, and at the free-throw line. He surpassed 1,000 career points this season and now ranks seventeenth on Cornell’s all-time scoring list with 1,177 points. Noard also reached fifth place in school history for three-pointers made with 227.
Zentner was recognized for his academic achievements with a grade point average of 3.82 in Applied Economics and Management while contributing off the bench in most games this season.
Other league honors included Nick Townsend of Yale as Player of the Year, Connor Igoe of Columbia as Rookie of the Year, Casey Simmons of Yale as Defensive Player of the Year, and co-Coaching Staffs of Harvard and Yale being recognized.
