Junior Michelle Ryndin was named to the first-team All-Ivy League in both singles and doubles, leading four Cornell Big Red women’s tennis players who received conference honors, according to an April 23 announcement from the league office.
The recognition highlights individual achievements during a season where the team finished with an overall record of 8-12 and a 1-6 mark in Ivy competition. The awards acknowledge strong performances despite challenges faced by the team throughout regular play.

In doubles, Ryndin partnered with Sage Loudon for a 9-7 dual match record at No. 1, including four wins in Ivy League matches. Loudon also earned second-team honors in both singles and doubles after compiling a season singles record of 16-12 and going undefeated (4-1) in Ivy League singles play after fall tournaments.

Senior Emma Baker was named to the Academic All-Ivy team for balancing competitive performance across multiple singles positions with academic achievement.
