Kahlen Cornell, a former Dryden High School player, helped the Ithaca Bombers earn a 9-2 win over the Scranton Lady Royals in NCAA Division III softball on Saturday, March 7, at 3 p.m.

The matchup was held at Magis Field and marked the teams’ second meeting this season. Their earlier contest the same day ended with the Bombers prevailing 2-0.

Cornell took the mound for two innings, tallying two walks and one strikeout.

The Bombers’ upcoming game is set for Thursday, March 19, at 11:15 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields, where they will face the UW – Platteville Pioneers.
