John Lemondes, a member of the New York State Assembly, recently posted several statements on his social media account addressing political figures and current events.

On April 13, 2026, Lemondes expressed strong emotion in a brief post: “THANK GOD!! https://t.co/OskDEO2ymx”.

Two days later, on April 14, 2026, he commented on an incident involving a neighborhood agitator and a dog: “That was refreshing to see the neighborhood agitator get his due from the dog! https://t.co/p3x2Hsszg0”.

On April 16, 2026, Lemondes referenced Vice President Kamala Harris in another post: “Poor Kamala… every time she opens her mouth she illuminates how much she lacks. Go democrats, get behind her….. Americans are not stupid!!”.

Lemondes served for 27 years in the military with combat experience in Iraq and Afghanistan before retiring as a colonel in 2014 (official website). He comes from a family of veterans and lives with his wife Martha and their children. Lemondes won election to the New York State Assembly in 2020 and was reelected in 2022. His educational background includes studies at Paul Smith’s College, Penn State University, Syracuse University, the Command & General Staff College, and the Eisenhower School for National Resource Strategy. He has also served as president of the New York Farmer Veteran Coalition and on the board of the Onondaga County Soil & Water Conservation District. According to his official biography, Lemondes is committed to supporting veterans, first responders, law enforcement personnel, and environmental preservation.
