Livingston County finalizes Conesus Lake Watershed Management Plan

Livingston County has announced the completion and approval of the Conesus Lake Watershed Management Plan. The plan aims to improve water quality and protect the health of the watershed by implementing best management practices.

The Conesus Lake watershed covers about 70 square miles and includes more than 18 streams that flow into the lake. Several towns—Conesus, Geneseo, Groveland, Livonia, Sparta, and Springwater—as well as the Village of Livonia, are partially located within this watershed area.
