Pam Helming, a member of the New York State Senate, recently shared updates on social media as the 2026 Legislative Session began. In her posts, she emphasized legislative priorities and expressed appreciation for law enforcement officers.

On January 8, 2026, Helming wrote: “The 2026 Legislative Session is underway. I remain focused on affordability, protecting taxpayers, supporting job creators, enhancing public safety, and making New York a place future generations choose to live.”

The following day, January 9, Helming addressed constituents with another message: “You sent me to Albany to fight for you, and that is exactly what I continue to do as the Legislative Session gets underway. I wanted to share a quick update on the work ahead. I hope you will take a moment to watch.”

Later that same day, Helming acknowledged National Law Enforcement Day by stating: “Today is National Law Enforcement Day. I am grateful for the officers, sheriffs, and troopers who show up every day to protect our communities. Thank you for your dedication to service! #backtheblue”
