Phil Nwugwo, a former standout from Victor Senior High School, helped the Daemen Wildcats defeat the Saint Anselm Hawks 94-73 on Tuesday, March 17, during the NCAA Division II Tournament.

The matchup was held at 7 p.m. at the Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium.

In 16 minutes of play, Nwugwo recorded 2 points, 2 assists, 1 rebound and 1 block.

Up next, the Daemen Wildcats are scheduled to play Wednesday, March 25, at 8:30 p.m. at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
