Of the 1,801 students attending Schuyler County schools, 93.8% were white. Multiracial represented the second-largest ethnic group, making up 3.4% of Schuyler County students.
In the previous school year, white was also the most common student ethnicity in Schuyler County, representing 96.3% of the student body.
B. C. Cate Elementary School had the most diverse student body in Schuyler County, with white, multiracial, Hispanic, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian or Pacific Islander, and Black.
In the 2024-25 school year, the total number of students enrolled in public schools in the county dropped to 3.1% when compared to the previous year.
