Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson said on April 6 that deputies arrested Lamay Gilroy of Seneca Falls, New York, for aggravated driving while intoxicated in the Town of Junius. The arrest took place around 3:38 a.m. on April 5 after deputies responded to a property damage accident.

According to Thompson, an official police investigation determined that Gilroy had moved from her lane unsafely and was found to have a blood alcohol content greater than .18 percent.

Gilroy was processed at the scene and released with an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Junius Court to answer for the charges.
