Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson said on March 26 that deputies arrested Carrie Wolf, age 48, of Trumansburg, New York for driving while intoxicated in the Town of Covert. The arrest took place on March 25 at around 10:26 p.m.

The incident began when sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle operated by Wolf for failure to keep right and operating an uninspected motor vehicle. After conducting an investigation during the traffic stop, deputies placed Wolf in custody and transported her to the Law Enforcement Center in Romulus.

Authorities said Wolf refused to provide a chemical breath test following her arrest. She was held for Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) Court.
