Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson said on March 9 that deputies arrested Timothy Lafler, age 64 of Middlesex, New York, in connection with a larceny incident in the Town of Tyre.

The case involves an alleged theft that took place on February 21, when Lafler is accused of stealing $500 from another individual at a local business. According to the sheriff’s office, Lafler was charged with petit larceny, which is classified as a class A misdemeanor.

Lafler was processed at the Seneca County Correctional Facility and later released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear before Tyre Town Court on April 28.
