Central Presbyterian Church recently issued the following announcement.
Dear Friends,
With the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and out of an abundance of caution, we have determined that we can best show Christ’s love by distancing ourselves physically, one from another.
Therefore, in-person worship and meetings/gatherings at Central Presbyterian Church have been suspended through April 23. You can listen to our Worship Service online.
The Geneseo/Groveland Emergency Food Pantry will remain open for its usual hours of operation.
Pastoral care and other support will continue. We will help one another. We will pray for one another. Please contact Rev. Nancy Lowmaster (pastor@cpcgeneseo.org, 585-243-0669, or 585-208-7606) if you have a pastoral need.
During this time, you may feel stripped of your familiar comforts and certainties. We pray that you will be able to trust in God’s ability to work all things, even tragic pandemics, for good for those that love God.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
May we walk in this valley of dark fear with faith, trusting in the care and love of the Good Shepherd.
