Cost of college went up for all students at the Elim Bible Institute and College

Tuition and fees rose 24.2 percent for 2018-19 at the Elim Bible Institute and College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $9,934 to attend the two-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,992 more than the $7,942 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 91 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 27 students received grants or scholarships totaling $171,100 and 18 students took out student loans totaling more than $89,477.

Including all undergraduates (113), 85 students used grants or scholarships totaling $485,674, and 55 students took out $290,799 in federal student loans.
