Of the 2,278 people living in Lima in 2019, 51.1 percent (1,164) were women and 48.9 percent (1,114) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Finger Lakes Today.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 739-to-726. In the 65 and over age range, there were 165 females and 154 males.
