Of the 2,209 people living in Groton in 2019, 50.9 percent (1,125) were women and 49.1 percent (1,084) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Finger Lakes Today.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 620-to-609. In the 65 and over age range, there were 320 females and 216 males.
