Of the 2,175 people living in Phelps in 2020, 52.6 percent (1,144) were women and 47.4 percent (1,031) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Finger Lakes Today.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 9. In the 65 and over age range, there were 226 females and 165 males.
