82.2% of Livingston County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 62,253 citizens living in Livingston County in 2021, 82.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 51,168 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 25,892 were male, constituting 50.6%, and 25,276 were female, making up 49.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Livingston County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79%.
