Senator Helming joins Livingston County Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) and Monroe County Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) to celebrate Agriculture Literacy Week. To help celebrate, Senator Helming met with and read a book to two second-grade classrooms at Geneseo Elementary School and a first-grade classroom at Lima Primary School.
In a statement, Senator Helming expressed her gratitude towards the two organizations, saying, "I would like to thank Livingston County CCE and Monroe County CCE for their invaluable work teaching our youth about the importance of agriculture in our community."
