UR Medicine Thompson Health has appointed Susan Bezek as the new director of Cardiopulmonary Services at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. In her role, Bezek will manage Cardiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Respiratory Therapy, and Clinical Nutrition.
Bezek is a Naples resident with an extensive academic background. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Keuka College and her master’s as a nurse practitioner from the University of Rochester School of Nursing. Additionally, she holds a doctorate in nursing education from Capella University.
Before joining Thompson Health, Bezek served as the chair for the Division of Nursing at Keuka College. Her previous roles also included associate professor of nursing and director of both the bachelor’s program and dual degree program within the Division of Nursing.
