UR Medicine Thompson Health has announced a new support group for mothers, named “The Milk Bar.” The group is set to meet on Wednesday, July 2, from 10 a.m. to noon. The meeting will be held in the Birthing Center classroom located on the second floor of Thompson Hospital at 350 Parrish St.
The purpose of this group is to provide “a safe and nurturing space designed for moms to come together, share experiences, and support one another on their motherhood journey.” Courtney Stuhlman, Thompson’s lactation consultant, will host the event. The group welcomes all mothers regardless of their breastfeeding status. Babies and children up to age two are also invited to attend.
