UR Medicine Thompson Health has recognized three associates as recipients of the Service Excellence Award for the second quarter of 2025. The awards are given based on reviews by the health system’s Service Excellence Team, which considers compliments from patients, families, and coworkers.

Dana Kincaid, a Human Resources Generalist from Canandaigua, was one of the honorees. She was acknowledged for her dedication when she stayed with a coworker and their daughter during surgery, providing comfort and support.

Mitchell Miller, a Registered Nurse in the ICU and also a resident of Canandaigua, received praise for his empathetic approach. His nomination highlighted his ability to connect with patients and their families during difficult times.

Alyson Welch, an Insurance Credentialing Coordinator from Victor, was recognized for her role in implementing processes for payer enrollment across UR Medicine’s southern region. Her work had a positive impact on four facilities.

The awards highlight individuals who go above and beyond in their roles at Thompson Health.
