Thompson Health hosts support group for lung disease patients on June 13

UR Medicine Thompson Health is organizing a support group meeting on Friday, June 13, for individuals dealing with lung disease or breathing difficulties. The initiative aims to assist participants in enhancing their quality of life.

The group, known as Thompson Better Breathers, will emphasize discussion, education, and behavioral changes. Gerald Dilgard, a respiratory therapist from Thompson Health, will facilitate the session.

Scheduled from 3 to 4:30 p.m., the meeting will be held in the George M. Ewing Jr. Conference Room on the ground floor of the Constellation Center for Health and Healing. This facility is situated at the back of Thompson Hospital at 350 Parrish St. Attendees should enter via The Thompson Way, a private drive off West Street next to The Eye Care Center. There is no fee to attend.
