CANANDAIGUA – UR Medicine Thompson Health will host a support group meeting on Friday, August 8, for individuals with lung disease or breathing difficulties. The initiative aims to assist attendees in improving their quality of life.

The group, named Thompson Better Breathers, emphasizes discussion, education, and behavioral changes. Gerald Dilgard, a respiratory therapist from Thompson Health, will facilitate the meeting.

Scheduled from 3 to 4:30 p.m., the meeting will take place in the George M. Ewing Jr. Conference Room on the ground floor of the Constellation Center for Health and Healing. This facility is located at the back of Thompson Hospital at 350 Parrish St. Participants should enter via The Thompson Way, accessible from West Street next to The Eye Care Center. Attendance is free of charge.
