UR Medicine Thompson Health has been included in Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2025 list of “100 Great Community Hospitals.” The selection is based on nominations and analysis of rankings and ratings, according to the Chicago-based medical industry trade magazine. Hospitals are not able to pay for a spot on the list.
This marks the second time Thompson Health has received this recognition, having previously appeared in 2023.

UR Medicine Thompson Health will host a Lymphedema Support Group meeting on April 21 in Canandaigua. The session is facilitated by Angela Kiklowicz, who specializes in therapies for chronic swelling disorders.
Ferris Hills at West Lake will host a bridge tournament featuring both duplicate and social play on May 1. A buffet lunch is included in the $25 registration fee. Preregistration is required due to limited seating.
The Thompson Health Guild is organizing Planting Party fundraisers with Spring Valley Gardens this May in Canandaigua. Attendees can learn about seasonal planting while supporting educational opportunities for Thompson Health staff.
