Cornell women’s rowing wrapped up its road schedule at the Princeton Invite with third- or fourth-place finishes across twelve races against nationally ranked teams. The team will return home next weekend to face Rhode Island, Delaware and Bucknell.
Cornell opened its home track meet Saturday with Sade Falese finishing fifth after four heptathlon events despite windy weather shifting some contests indoors. Head coach Mike Henderson praised Falese’s debut effort as athletes prepare for Sunday’s full schedule.
Cornell men’s lacrosse defeated top-ranked Duke 9-7 by holding them to their lowest goal total of the season. Strong defensive play led by Matthew Tully helped secure victory for Cornell, who next faces High Point.
