CAYUGA COUNTY: September 18, 2020 Health Department COVID-19 Situational Update

Cayuga County issued the following announcement on Sept. 18. 

The Cayuga County Health Department releases the following situational update

New cases Tuesday, September 15, 2020 – one new case 

• A male in his fifties, living inside the City of Auburn.

Contact tracing is complete.

Wednesday, September 16, 2020 – one new case 

• A female in her twenties, living inside the City of Auburn.

Contact tracing is on-going.

Thursday, September 17, 2020 – two new cases

• A male in his thirties, living outside the City of Auburn. 

• A male infant, living outside the City of Auburn.

Contact tracing is complete.

Friday, September 18, 2020 – one new case 

• A male in his teens, living inside the City of Auburn, not attending in-school instruction.

Contact tracing is complete.

Active Cases in Mandatory Quarantine/ Isolation 

47 in Mandatory Quarantine 

9 in Mandatory Isolation

Hospitalized Cases

Currently there no Cayuga County residents hospitalized.

Confirmed Cases – total year to date

There have been a total of 189 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Cayuga County

Discharges- total year to date

There have been 177 individuals discharged from Mandatory Isolation.
