Wyoming County: 92.4% of students graduated in 2021-22 school year

Graduation rates in Wyoming County schools fell 0.4% from the previous school year, according to the New York State Education Department.

There were 1,148 students who graduated in the 2021-22 school year, compared to 1,198 in the previous year.

Wyoming County had the state's eighth highest graduation rate with 92.4% graduating, while Nassau County boasted the highest rate, with 95.3% of students graduating in the 2021-22 school year.

In 2022, New York had roughly one teacher for every 12 students, which is better than the national average of one teacher for every 16 students.
