Senator Pam Helming recently participated in the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester’s Pink and Teal Challenge 5K at Monroe Community College. The Breast Cancer Coalition is the sole comprehensive, independently-operated organization committed to serving breast and gynecologic cancer survivors in Central and Western New York regions. This year's event saw an impressive turnout with over 1000 participants showing their support for the invaluable work carried out by the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester for our community.
In her remarks, Senator Helming stated, “I was proud to help kick off the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester's Pink & Teal Challenge. The community turnout was incredible, showing support of the services and programs BCCR offers that provide hope to those facing some of the toughest moments in their lives. As State Senator, it is truly an honor to work with the Coalition. Thank you to Executive Director Christina Thompson and the entire BCCR team for all that you do."
