State Senator Pamela Helming, District 54 | Official U.S. Senate headshot
Senator Pam Helming recently hosted the Finger Lakes Community College Men’s Volleyball Team at the State Capitol. The team, known as the Lakers, made history by securing their second consecutive NJCAA National Invitational Championship in a 3-1 victory over Monroe College. In addition to this achievement, Senator Helming also acknowledged first-year head coach Steven Verbridge, who was honored as the NJCAA 2024 Coach of the Year.
The senator expressed her pride and admiration for the Lakers Men’s Volleyball Team and Coach Verbridge. She commended them on their exceptional season and took the opportunity to recognize them on the Senate floor.
