Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan has announced the start of his annual donation drive for local pets and animals, beginning Wednesday, January 15, 2025. The initiative will run until February 13, 2025. Gallahan is collaborating with Beverly Animal Shelter in Seneca County and Happy Tails Animal Shelter in Ontario County to collect donations.

Residents are encouraged to contribute new dog food, cat food, treats, toys, litter, and cleaning supplies. These items will support vulnerable animals in the region.

“I am very excited to once again partner with Happy Tails Animal Shelter and Beverly Animal Shelter in Ontario and Seneca counties to donate essentials to pets and animals in need this winter,” said Gallahan. “The turnout from our Assembly District 131 community each and every year is inspiring and helps support our local animal shelters tremendously. I encourage everyone to get out and donate this year!”

Donations can be dropped off at several locations: Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan’s Office in Geneva; Phelps Town Hall; Manchester Town Hall in Clifton Springs; Canandaigua Town Hall; Seneca Falls Library; and Waterloo Village Hall.
