Assemblyman Jeff Gallahan has expressed his support for Assembly Bill A.3938, also known as the 'Alexander John Smullen Traffic Safety Memorial Law.' The proposed legislation aims to establish a program for traffic safety memorial signs to honor victims of fatal vehicle collisions. This initiative is intended to raise awareness about the consequences of impaired, reckless, or distracted driving.

Gallahan stated, "Prioritizing traffic safety to keep both drivers and pedestrians safe statewide is critical. It is an honor to stand with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to support the 'Alexander John Smullen Traffic Safety Memorial Law' to help educate the public, memorialize the victims of vehicle-related deaths and reduce future vehicle accidents."

The bill seeks not only to commemorate those who have lost their lives in traffic incidents but also to serve as a reminder of the importance of road safety measures.
