UR Medicine Thompson Health is organizing a support group meeting for individuals dealing with lung disease or breathing issues. The event, titled "Thompson Better Breathers," is scheduled for Friday, March 14. It aims to help participants enhance their quality of life through discussions, educational activities, and behavioral modifications.
Gerald Dilgard, a respiratory therapist at Thompson Health, will facilitate the session. The meeting will occur from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the George M. Ewing Jr. Conference Room on the ground floor of the Constellation Center for Health and Healing. This venue is situated at the rear of Thompson Hospital at 350 Parrish Street.
Attendees can access the campus via The Thompson Way, a private drive off West Street next to The Eye Care Center. Participation in this event is free of charge.
