The Rochester Business Journal has recognized Elizabeth Talia, Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs/General Counsel at UR Medicine Thompson Health, as a 2025 Circle of Excellence honoree. This acknowledgment is part of the Women of Excellence awards, which honor women who have achieved significant career milestones, shown community involvement, exhibited leadership, and maintained a commitment to mentoring.
Elizabeth Talia has been with Thompson Health since 2011. She also holds the position of vice chair with Compeer Rochester and is a board member for the United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes. She is one of seven individuals honored with the Circle of Excellence award this year.
"The Circle of Excellence honorees are trailblazers and change makers who aren’t afraid to face adversity and stand up for what they believe. They know the value of helping other women see something special in themselves, something they might not have known was there," stated Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Rochester Business Journal. "We at the Rochester Business Journal are pleased to honor these transformational leaders."
The Circle of Excellence honors prior Women of Excellence recipients who have continued to achieve notable successes within the community, leading the way for other women.
