Assemblyman John Lemondes (R,C-LaFayette) announced that district allocations have recently been negotiated via the New York state budget for the State and Municipal Facilities Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability, and Technology (SAM/CREST) programs. This program will allow for the funding of several projects within the 126th Assembly District.
These funds may be used for construction, improvement, rehabilitation or reconstruction of facilities owned by eligible entities. Equipment acquisition is also eligible, such as heavy-duty road maintenance and construction vehicles, pavers, snowplows, heavy-duty fire and emergency response, and law enforcement vehicles.
All grant applications are due by Friday, Aug. 9, 2024. Applications can be submitted via email at lemondesj@nyassembly.gov or mailed to 69 South St., Auburn, NY 13021. Please contact Assemblyman Lemondes’ office at 315-255-3045 if you have any questions or need further assistance.

“The SAM/CREST Grant Funding program is just one of the many ways our state invests in its localities,” said Lemondes. “From public school districts to local libraries I encourage all organizations who are eligible to apply as we continue to work to make New York a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
