Senator Helming is once again collaborating with the Marine Corps League Memorial Day Detachment 468 to aid the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. The initiative seeks donations of new, unwrapped toys, which can be delivered to Senator Helming’s District Office at 25 North Street, Canandaigua, until December 15. These gifts are intended to benefit children and families across the Finger Lakes region.

Senator Helming emphasized the importance of community support, stating, “I am again asking the people of the 54th District to support the critical work of the Toys for Tots program. This holiday season will be challenging for many, and the need once again is great. If you or your business or organization is able to help, know that your donation will make a difference in the lives of children and families in our local communities.”

The Toys for Tots program was established by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve with a mission to bring joy to children in need by providing them with new toys during the holiday season. In 2023, it achieved a milestone by distributing 24.4 million toys, books, and games to nearly 10 million children in need.
